LUIS KERCH
LUIS KERCH

About
Kerch is a plein-air painter. He arranges his canvases like reverberations that awaken our imagination, bringing light to the landscapes they seem to form.

Since the work carried in 2011 in Kent, UK, his artwork has had an impact on the national and international art scene. On three occasions, he was selected and short-listed for Britain's “Threadneedle Prize for Painting & Sculpture,” organised by the Federation of British Artists and London's Saatchi Gallery.
Throughout the last 15 years, he has collaborated with Mexican galleries such as that of Alfredo Ginocchio and Intersección Arte Contemporáneo in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and art fairs in the USA, Europe and other Latin American countries, as well as participating in individual and collective exhibitions hosted by galleries and institutions in Europe and America; Mall Galleries, London, UK. TEA, Contemporary Art Centre, Tenerife. The Fludde Festival. Faversham, Canterbury, Kent, UK. Instituto Cabrera Pinto, Government of the Canary Islands Exhibition Hall, Herraiz Gallery, Madrid.
